Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by BRIX Electrical & Air, including electrical, air conditioning, solar and battery services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Scope Of Work

All work is performed in accordance with the quote provided and accepted by you. We will perform the work in a professional manner using qualified and licensed technicians. Any variations to the scope of work must be agreed in writing before additional work commences.

3. Quotes And Pricing

Quotes are valid for 30 days. All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if site conditions differ significantly from the initial assessment or if additional work is required.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• Residential jobs 50% deposit on acceptance of quote, balance due on completion
• Commercial / larger projects progress payments as agreed
• Final invoice payable within 7 days of completion

We accept bank transfer, credit card and cash. Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs.

5. Warranty On Workmanship

We provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship and 5 years on major components (where applicable). The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party work, or normal wear and tear. All warranties are subject to the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Limitation Of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data, or business interruption. We maintain appropriate public liability and workers compensation insurance.

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. If cancelled after materials have been ordered or work has commenced, you may be liable for costs already incurred. Deposits are non-refundable if work has started.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved directly between the parties. If unresolved, the matter will be referred to mediation in Queensland before any legal proceedings are commenced.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
